Creative Workshop

The Creative Imagination

Your congregational identity is shaped by the traditions and practices in your worship gatherings. These gatherings can be especially meaningful when you combine the best of traditions handed down to you, your own creativity and the unique creativity of your gathered community.

Join singer and songwriter David Gungor as he helps you explore different approaches to using creativity and imagination in your context. These approaches will help you curate and create meaningful experiences for your congregation.

This workshop will help you become more creative in your context through:

  • Understanding the creative process

  • Learning how to curate creativity in your congregation

  • How to get inspiration

  • Creative Collaboration

This workshop is for anyone involved with the planning and execution of worship gatherings including musicians, speakers, artists, etc. This workshop is not focused on one style of music or worship, but rather encourages leaders to think more creatively about their practice.

Workshop facilitator David Gungor is an accomplished singer and songwriter and part of the liturgical band The Brilliance and has worked in church ministry for over 15 years.
